Easy to install and use
DAB DIVERTRON is a multi-stage submersible pump with built-in electronics. The pump offers an ideal solution for rainwater and irrigation systems and for pumping water from tanks, pools, wells and lakes. It is also suitable for many other household needs where high pressure is required. The pump is compact and easy to use, which makes it a good choice. In addition, it is perfectly suited for garden use. The pump's electronics control the start-up and shutdown automatically according to the need for use.
Easy to install
Install the pump in a place where it will not be exposed to freezing.
Hang the pump by pulling the rope through the hole intended for it. Do not install check valves near the pump inlet. There is already in the pump inlet
built-in non-return valve.
Installation in the well:
Install the pump so that the pump inlet is at least 1 m higher than the bottom of the well, so that the pump does not suck in sand and impurities. Use metal pipes to hang the pump. Attach the pipes with brackets to the top of the well.
Installation in the tank:
Ensure that the minimum dimensions of the collection tank exceed 160 mm diameter to allow the pump to be installed. Keep the pump slightly raised from the bottom to prevent the pump from hitting the tank.
Swimmer version X installation:
The minimum dimensions of a pump equipped with a float in a well or tank are as follows:
The recommended minimum distance between the pump float end and the wall is 3 cm
Use
When the pump is connected to the mains, the pump motor is switched off and the non-return valve is in idle mode: otherwise the pump stops
and the engine is not started at all.
Start:
The pump starts when one of the following conditions is reached:
- flow rate exceeds 2 l/min (0.53 gpm) minimum flow rate.
- the pressure is lower than the start pressure (CUT-IN). The default setting of the CUT-IN value is 2.4 bar for the DIVERTRON 900 model and 1.8 bar for the DIVERTRON
in the 650 model.
Maintenance
The pump does not need maintenance. Freezing can damage the pump. If the temperature is very low, remove the pump from the water, drain it and take it to a place protected from freezing.
